Through the collaborative work and mutual engagement of visitors, the happening became an initiation for the creation of the future installation.
The activity that annually gathered my family this time involved visitors who with their participation recreated the familiar activity of cutting, collecting and stacking the firewood.
While wood became the key element in triggering the experience of home and belonging, the gallery space served as convenient winter storage for the secure preservation of the source of warmth.
