WÄRME – WARMTH /Ambiental installation / firewood, wheelbarrow, videos, warmth / 2021

Warmth is a temporary Ambient installation that thematizes fire as one of the elementary basics for generating a homely feel and comfort.
From collecting and storing pieces of wood as the main material, through the collective action of installation construction, it enriches sensible dimension with implemented actual warmth in the space and featured videos of the burning process.
The transformative aspect of the installation is further emphasized through another engagement of visitors who were free to take wood displayed in the space. Throughout the exhibition period, they contributed to the further development of a communal sense of sharing while changing the visage of the installation and extending the cultivation of warmth in their homes.
