The space intervention features multiple fragments of textual spread presenting a poetically constructed story—a prose poem—exploring the emotional and physical dimensions of lives shaped by (e)migration in various media. It delicately balances the perspectives of those who stay and those who leave, using language as a tool to convey the nuanced experiences of care, doubt, projection, judgment, hope, and support.
Brought together in a unified spatial experience, the work invites the observer to reflect on their connection to either side, while being subtly reminded that there is no easier side to be on.
